Hello,
My daughter is doing your course over the summer – and really enjoying it so far. Usually the questions in the quizes cover the information presented in the reading – on this quiz there were questions about eggs benedict, Canadian bacon and donuts, that we couldn’t find any information on in the material you presented. My daughter was surprised when she got so many answers wrong on the quiz, I told her to reread the material, finally I read it, that’s when I realized that we need to look for those answers elsewhere. Is that what is intended, or was some of the text missing?
Hello Melanie, I am happy your daughter is doing the course and I am sorry your daughter was “trying to look” for the answers and they were no where to be found. I should have put a notice on the quiz to let them know that this quiz didn’t necessarily pertain to what they learned in breakfast foods it was just more of a interesting facts page about breakfast. I will note that for future reference for others. I apologize that it was not clearly stated. Thank you for letting me know as I am a “one woman show” over here:) and I appreciate the assistance. Please tell your daughter thank you from me:) Have a wonderful day!
Thanks so much Amy, We are really enjoying the course – she is doing it for credit for high school thru North Atlantic Regional Highschool – so the quizzes and assessments will count towards her mark. It was a good learning moment to teach into that we don’t ‘guess’, its better to look up the info elsewhere.
Blessings to you for sharing so much.
Melanie
Thank you for the insight Melanie. It will help me rethink future quizzes and how I ask things. 🙂 I am glad she is enjoying it and able to use it for schooling. Have a blessed day! Amy
