Take a can of pinto beans, I have used dry beans that I made and then froze, but I found they were not as smooth as the canned kind.2014-05-20_00032

Add some salt and minced onions.2014-05-20_00033Puree in your food processor until smooth.

Cheap, refried beans and much better for you than store bought kind.

    Hi Amy! Love your videos and blogs. I have a huge bag of dry pinto beans that we wanted to try our own refried beans. Do you have an easy crockpot or stove top recipe for that?

    1. I just cook them in the crockpot until done and then puree them in the food processor. We make them very simple:)
