Would you please let me know more information about this curriculum? I’m considering it for me teens.

    1. Yes, you can click on the button to take you to the course. Or go through the homeschooling resources page and scroll down through the difference course:)

  2. Hi,
My freshman daughter is going to take your course, we were planning on doing it online – free is amazing – but then we saw you have the combo book on Amazon. It’s more pricey than I would like but isn’t everything. The reason we got interested it is we saw a woman’s question about you removing the character studies and then you replied they were available in the printed issue of the book. When we looked at it on Amazon, we really liked the devotions with the character traits!
We would like to know however why you chose to go through the personal household management first in the book rather than the kitchen skills? We were planning on doing the kitchen skills first, would it work to start out in week 19 where the kitchen skills begin and then do the front portion of the book after that? Also, besides the devotion and character building, is the rest of the information in the book the same, or is it more detailed than the online course in the skills areas as well?
Thank you so much for taking my questions,
    Bonnie

    1. Bonnie, I am happy that you have found us as well. I am glad your daughter will be using the course. Yes, it is free online so that no matter what your financial ability, you can still partake in the same course. I also have it as a PDF download on my site, which is half the price on Amazon. Lots of options for financial abilities. I don’t want that stand in the way. I just started the book out that way because I thought in my mind how busy the beginning of the school year was for my children and so I did a “less hands on” work by using the household skills—knowing that when my daughter does them, I know she can complete most of it by herself. Then as the year gets into the swing of things, the kitchen skills would kick in. That is all:) You can gladly start anywhere you would like in the book. Yes the information is the same. Online I include more printables and quizzes to fill up time:) Hope this helps. Have a wonderful day.

  4. Hi, let me start off by saying I appreciate all your hardwork and resources that you make available. I am currently homeschooling my son for the 1st year and he is 12, we are utilizing your cooking book. I had been trying to find a particular resource I vaguely remember seeing a link to somewhere on your site but have nnot been able to re-locate it. Could you please direct me to it when you get a chance? I have remember a life skills course/book for young teenage BOYS somewhere… am I remembering correctly?
Either way, thank you in advance.
