I love the taste of croutons, but not all the fat involved. I decided to make my own.
I took sliced bread, buttered both sides. Sprinkled garlic powder and parmesan cheese on one side of it. Placed it in a 400 oven and let bake for about 10 minutes until crisp.
Take out of the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Cut up into squares.
There you have healthy version croutons.


I make croutons.
But i cut before baking.
Butter.. season with (garlic powder..onion powder..italian seasoning)
Stack and cut with electric knife. 1 inch cubes. Then seperate on baking sheet. Bake at 200 till dry and crisp. We love as a snack or on soups and in salads.
