  1. Amy, Love your videos and your Abundantly Blessed series. I’ve never seen anyone rinse rice after cooking ive always done it before cooking, interesting ! Have a blessed day. Carla

Hello, I just want you to know that you bring me such encouragement in my walk with God. And you have encouraged me to get up and “keep moving”. I am a 51 year old plus size mother of three adult children. Now it’s my husband and me. I work in a high school cafeteria and when I come home I watch your video. God bless you, and thank you for the time you give to this ministry!

    1. I appreciate your kind words Sherri…you motivate me to get up and go each day with what you just said:) I thank you!

  3. Amy, how do you deal with “picky” eaters? I see so many recipes that would make my life easier by “bulk” cooking and I don’t do them because I’m going over in my head how many of my kids won’t eat them…any advice on getting little ones (and big ones) to just eat what I make?

    1. My children can still be picky but what I do is…this is dinner….you must eat some of it. Sometimes I will entice with a dessert or some treat if they eat dinner. Don’t offer an alternative later on when they are hungry..save their dinner. If they physically cannot stand the texture of something…I don’t force it. But I have found that when they are truly hungry they will eat much better than if it is just time for dinner. I stick to some basic meals and say ok…today might not be your favorite dinner but if we eat all of this we won’t have to do leftovers tomorrow and we can make your favorite…pizza or whatever it may be. Be firm in a kind way…this is it:)
