Today I have free vocabulary words for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade.
These words are all appropriate for the various grade levels and each year your child will gain 250 new vocabulary words.
My suggestion on teaching, is to give the weekly page to the student. Have them cut the words into flashcards and practice learning them. Reading, learning the definition, and even spelling are all good ways to teach vocabulary. Have them practice using them in everyday speech each week as well.
There are 21 weeks of words. You can easily do one sheet for every two weeks depending upon how much you want to study this. There are 12 words per sheet. I have found this will probably be the most beneficial for my children instead of doing numerous worksheets each week.
Hope you enjoy an easy, no fuss way of doing vocabulary.
Be blessed!

Thank You so much! I appreciate your work and sharing with others.
Your so very welcome Brittainy. Have a wonderful day!
Do you test spelling of these words along with definition?
That is something that is up to you the teacher:) I may have some of my older ones write them on the marker board during testing time. Enjoy!
I can not get the vocabulary words to come up. Am I doing something wrong?
Click on the grade and then click on the image of the words. It should pop up a .pdf for you.
Hi Amy,
Can you please tell me if the sixth grade vocabulary words are in the printed book version from Amazon?
Thank you,
Michelle

I found this website here at the end of my first year of homeschool. And I just have to say “wow”! What a blessing you are. This has helped me and my child in just the short amount of time I’ve put it to use. I am grateful to you! It was an extremely tough year but I’m looking forward to starting the new year now. Thank you!
I am so glad you found me, Yes next year can be way less stressful:)
Hi, I came across your site being suggested for free curriculum. I’m thankful that I found this. I was looking for a Life Skills course for my son (4th grade) and was glad you had one.
We are a Christian family from the Philippines and currently homeschooling 2 kids ages 9 and 12. We’re on a tight budget as well and I had to defer buying any textbooks this year unless they are absolutely necessary and are secondhand. I also don’t want anything online too much because my 8th grader is just a challenge to discipline with regard to screen time.
I’m planning to use the 4th and 8th grade English curriculum now and want to know if each page is a day’s lesson. There isn’t any marker as to how many pages we could finish in a day or a week. Thank you!
We did one page per day four times per week. I looked at how many pages there were included and then divided up by the number of days we did school and figured it out that way. Hope that helps!
I can only find 1 vocabulary list for 8th grade. Are the lists no longer available?
were you able to get them?
When I click the link for 6th grade there is only 1 list of 12 words.
keep waiting for it to load
