  1. I want to thank you so much for doing this. I’m a homeschooling mom from South Africa. We use a curriculum called CAPS and quite frankly I have no confidence in the curriculum, I wanted to make sure my daughter is getting at least something extra and challenging. I have been praying about homeschooling for years asking the Lord for strength and guidance to do it and since the beginning of this year, God has been pointing me to it. I tried it once and my daughter did not like it. But we recently relocated back home, country like and she attended for a brief 3 months and HATED the Private school she attended. When the lockdown began, she was so happy and when schools re-opened she asked to continue homeschooling and I was so happy.

My whole family including her late father did not understand nor support me the first time which is why I just left it, plus my daughter wanted to play more with other kids so I stopped but I had loved the experience and started praying about it. Now thanks to the pandemic, I do not have a lot to explain as pretty much everyone knows what homeschooling is, even though there’s still a few people who matter who do not get it at least no one is being negative to my face. Most people are interested to find out how I do it and I am always happy to share.

Today I spent the whole day on youtube trying to see what other people are doing. What can I do? And God is so amazing, I found you and more than I anticipated. I am so grateful for you and all that you’ve shared on this blog, it may not be much to other Americans and people but to me it’s GOLD. We begin the school year in the next 3 weeks and you can bet I am PREPARED! I registered her with an online schooling program however, because they use CAPS, the SA curriculum I am glad I have some extras I can incorporate into her learning. God bless you!

    1. I appreciate all of this that you shared. Made me smile through the whole message. You have a wonderful day. Enjoy your school year!
