Regarding the “not cabbage roll” dish…have you ever made lazy mans cabbage rolls? Essentially your dish, just not rolled. Shred the cabbage, and layer like lasagna (tomato sauce on the bottom as a base, a layer of ground meat, sprinkle a thin layer of rice, layer of cabbage, repeat as many layers as desired, finish with a layer of tomato sauce. Check to see if it needs more liquid – add beef broth if needed). It is a huge time and energy saver. I don’t make it very often as my family is not fond of cabbage, so I only make it when I know I’m only cooking for me. But it is so easy.

I have really enjoyed your blog. Watching your videos have given me some ideas to help with my family. I have four kids, all adults and five grandkids. Grandkids love quick foods and snacks, especially homemade. Again, thank you! I look forward to seeing your videos on YouTube.
