Hey, I hope your day is going great! It is Monday, time to start off our week with a smile:) Today I am sharing with you a science resource that our family absolutely adores:

We have been using them since they first came out. I was so happy to discover that they now have an unlimited app that you can get with all the episodes on NUMEROUS devices. The best part is that it is only $10 a month, cancel anytime.
You know that on my blog, I don’t do ANY advertisements. Never have, but the ONE thing I don’t have is a good science resource. I have all the other “main” subjects covered but not this one. Creation science is interesting but it is not something that is my passion. I am very happy to be partnering with Jonathan Park this year through my youtube channel but I also want to pass along the savings to families over here at my blog.
Visit https://www.Jonathanpark.com and you can get a 10% your digital download or physical purchase using the code largefamily10 offer expires Oct 2018.
What I enjoy about Jonathan Park, and you can go watch our videos on How we homeschool our children for free to confirm what I am saying, is that they have downloadable study guides. These study guides are like GOLD! They are packed full of so much extra information I enjoy going through them as my kids listen to the episodes. I am NOT a science person but reading and learning right along with my kids in this area has been wonderful! You do this at a laptop not through the app on devices.

Have a blessed day!

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I am a stay at home mom and I have twin girls that are going to be 10 on Halloween. They have been in public school since the beginning but have always been pretty far behind in school. This is the big 3rd grade, and where I live it determines quite a bit. I do not feel like the school has benefited them much at all. and when they come home we spend more time trying to go over what they need to learn in school than them having a break at some point. Right now it feels like school is wasting their time to actually learn. But at the same time I struggle with (can I home school) I have been battling it for 2 years and dont have faith in myself and want to make sure they still have exposure to friends. Which has been really hard. Ive looked into co ops near me but some of them are crazy expensive. What helped you get into the groove of homeschooling while keeping the kids social with others that are not family? I feel its becoming a critical decision for me so they have success.
Hello, it is nice to meet you. I understand the social part it can be a hard time but if you are determined you can make it happen. You can definitely homeschool, there are so many resources online that if you cannot figure something out, you can learn right along with them. That is the best! We don’t do co ops, so we started finding one family who had one child, then we started getting together with a couple of other moms that we met at the park—parks during the day are your greatest resource for finding moms:) Then we belong to a large church, when we first moved, it was a small church and only a handful of kids now they have a bunch of friends whom they can all play with. I pray and seek the Lord for direction on what to do and what to expose them to. let me say that having your girls become best friends is the greatest thing you will ever do. They are young enough where you don’t have to worry so much. let them see you interact with adults….it will benefit them…as to not be in that immature kid social atmosphere. goto library programs routinely, do parks, find friends at church..you would be suprised at the opportunities. as they get older they can volunteer and help at different places…helps with social interaction. I hope this helps!
