Hi. We are using your math this year for my 9th grader. Just wondering if you will be releasing a 10th grade math next year? š I love your curriculum and may end up using all subject for my 4 kids next year.
Hey Amy! So blessed by your site…Just curious about whether or not you give your own homeschool diploma or have your children take the GED exam…my first of 4 children will graduate next year and I’m not sure which to do..thanks:)
MY oldest I gave her a transcript because she went to college….my next two got a diploma and my fourth one is going to take the GED. I think it depends upon what your children want to do. my oldest wanted to go to college so she needed the transcript. My next two did not so I just graduated them. My fourth one wants to make sure that he knows all his basics…it is important to him so he will take the GED. Hope that helps.
I know this question was asked before, but was wondering if you are still planning on a 10th grade math curriculum? If so do you have a guess at when it will be done?
At this moment…I don’t have an exact day..My son who would normally be taking it, is doing a High School Equivalency test through our local college, so as of now, I don’t have a need for it. But I will have a child after next year need it. I will probably continue working on it this summer and if it is finished by fall then I will most definitely offer it.
Amy, Just a quick note to thank you for your amazing program. I’m a Canadian homeschool mom of six (so far), and we’ve been using your program with great success this year after falling out of love with Monarch.
It’s so nice to have the kids off the computer, while still not having to juggle all micromanage a complicated curriculum myself.
We now enjoy plenty of time to read and learn about our own personal interests and whatever’s fun at the library this week. It’s such a blessing!
Is there any chance you’ll be publishing the 9th grade curriculum on Amazon this year? We’ll be in need of it soon, and is so convenient to purchase the books already printed.
Thank you again for all your hard work. Love your videos too; I watch almost daily. <3
I appreciate your kind words…this blessed me. I am hoping to work on it this year and finish it up. If I don’t all inone homeschool highschool offers a lot of free courses…I know they are online but that is just another option. I will know more as my months keep going. thank you again.
I am curious as well if you will continue the high school levels of math. Your simplified curriculum has been a God send for my family of now 6 kids! Thank YOU for all you do!
each contains just a bit of it…nothing too advanced..I would suggest some workbooks or old textbooks if you need more. http://www.allinonehomeshool/highschool has more than I do for math classes and free
I watch you vlog and know that you have been really busy this summer but I was just checking in with you if the 10 grade curriculum will be ready for this school year as I live in North Carolina as well but the otherside by the beach and have one child that attends public school because that was what they choose to do, and they start next week. However my other one loves just the basic classes you created with out all the fluff because of healh issues and it doesnt take all day when thay are not feeling well.
I was not able to get to another year:( I would recommend real life classes…like what is going to benefit them for their life. You can search real life math books…things they will use daily…..look up remedial english/grammar old textbooks..which basically gives a review of entire high school in one course…we stay away from specific subject math unless they are going to college…like we don’t do advance algebra, trig, calculus..no need for it in real life:) As long as we cover it a bit..that is good for me. Do home economics course…online video lessons in a variety of subjects. allinonehomeschool high school does have online classes that are free..for ideas. Hope this helps.
Just lessons. I do have the answers in answer key form for the entire course. Which includes all the classes just not individual yet. You can download the books right on the same page. Hopefully in time I can get to this:)
Would this course be considered prealgebra? Or general math? What course would a student be prepared for after doing this course? Thanks so much for all you do!!!
hey amy why does the math only go for 125 days are you planning to add more to it or is that all are you also planning to add any more highschool courses do you know any that are free that we can use similar to urs any help on this ty so much
that is all I have for this. It covers all that they need, so we stopped at that number. I probably won’t be adding any more anytime soon, because we don’t need any other resources for our family…we have found real life books to be effective instead of me having to write curriculum.
Hey Amy I’ve asked and reached out to you with no answer are you planning to do more courses for highschool ? What do you do for highschool after grade 9 please reply ty
My apologies..I usually always see the comments here and answer them on my youtube…but some can go missed. I am not going to write any more…as of now..time did not allow it this year but I do have some youtube videos and I explain what we are doing for high school . If you type in my name and homeschool they will show up. hope that helps
We divide it up for the year and how many days we do school. For our family we do 4 days of pages a week…we do one page per day. If they need more help..just do more practice on that topic. HOpe that helps.
Just ordered 2 books for my son Life Skills for young men and cursive writing. 9th grade starting Sept 7th…..Last child in home……out of 4.Thank you for not only schooling but life lessons for myself I am saved for many years and went through some of your journey with just wearing dresses, to other beliefs. Raised independent Baptist.
Hello Amy I am considering homeschooling my daughter next year she’ll be in 9th but is still on and elementary school level our school system doesn’t seem to be helping her they are just pushing her through any advice on how to proceed.
Hi Amy,
Is 8th grade math the highest grade you teach? I noticed there is no 9th grade curriculum listed under the tab. Iām only seeing an addition page there.
Morning! I am trying to plan ahead for my son. He is currently using your 8th grade math curriculum. I am curious what you or your followers use beyond the 9th grade curriculum, if anything. I wasn’t sure if 9th is pre-algebra for example or if it encompasses all the generally required high school math. Essentially, I am trying to determine how to transfer to a high school math curriculum if need be. Thanks!!
I appreciate you asking…We use more of a real life math for high school courses. On my youtube channel I have a couple of videos explaining what we do for high school classes and such. Let me know if I can help any other way.
Not individual….I have the course in complete books on this page and then you would have to go through and get the answers in that book. I am currently working on that part so there are answers for them.
This is just a very basic course, to give you the parent what the child needs to learn to pass a standardized state test. If it is something they do not understand, I would recommend looking online.
Which level math would this 9th grade math be labeled for my records?
We use for 9th grade. It is a basic review math course and can be used in any grade high school. depending upon the child’s skill level.

My plan is to:) I appreciate the comments and glad you are able to use them.

Just curious, do you teach much Algebra, or do you let them learn that in college? Thank you!
My oldest we did, because she was college bound, my other ones so far have not wanted to venture that way so we just do a basic course in it.

I am going to work on it this summer and see how far I get..I will be needing it as well:)
Which of your upper level courses in math cover the most algebra (I know they’re all mixed-skills). Thank you!

it does cover some prealgebra but it is a general math course:)

Hello Amy I am considering homeschooling my daughter next year she’ll be in 9th but is still on and elementary school level our school system doesn’t seem to be helping her they are just pushing her through any advice on how to proceed.
You start her where she is at….and work at her level. If you work with her consistently she will get there. š
Hi Amy,

Thank you
we do more hands on and real life math learning once we get into high school.
What Math would you consider 9th grade Math, Algebra 1?
it does not contain a lot of algebra to make it a complete year of algebra…scroll thru and see it is more of a basic math with some algebra:)
hello, are there answers sheets for these courses?
Thank you
not individual, I have them in the completed books–all 3 courses in one downloaded book, on the same main page.
Thanks for access to all your free materials!

Are there instructional lessons for these worksheets, or are the students supposed to already know how to do this?
This is just a very basic course, to give you the parent what the child needs to learn to pass a standardized state test. If it is something they do not understand, I would recommend looking online.
