    1. I do not yet. I will be going through it this year, and fixing the typos, etc that I see. There shouldn’t be many but it usually takes me some time to go through all of the courses:) It is pretty self explanatory on most of it, and contains a lot of writing so I figured it wouldn’t be too much to look through and do it along with your child.

Yay!! Thank you for this course, I honestly appreciate you doing these courses for free, it’s a blessing for us!

    1. I am happy that someone else can use them. It was a blessing for me many years ago when I found what I needed and I want to extend that same appreciation to others:)

Thank you for these amazing resources! Would you be able to do a video on your older kid’s school schedules and subjects? Thank you!😀

    1. I will as it gets a little closer to the coming school year:) that way I will be finished with all that we will be doing.

    1. not yet:( I will as we do it this year. If you do it along with your child, you should be able to check the answers with him.

This is amazing! Just what I’ve been looking for, and I am so grateful for your kindness in sharing this. I was just wondering if you were planning on continuing with curriculum through 12th? So much of the other free curriculum online is so time consuming and unnecessary it seems, atleast for our family…lol. Thank you again for all you do…so encouraging to me!

    1. I am. I will probably do more of “high school” labeled courses as I feel that once you hit high school the classes should be whatever they want to pursue:) http://www.allinonehighschool.com has some great resources. we did some of theirs back in the day:) it is free!

I am having such a difficult time subscribing to your site 🙁
I enter my name and email address, yet I do not receive a confirmation in my inbox. I have unsuccessfully attempted 4 times.
    Suggestions?

Amy, I appreciate your generosity in sharing this material for free, but I’m feeling like I got what I paid for. This 9th grade English material covers all the necessary topics and could be a great resource, but it needs a lot of editing first!
My co-op class found 3 errors in the page 8 comma use review of rules.
    1) “Use a comma to set of words” (typo – should be “off”)
    2) “Use comma’s to add facts and information” (should be the plural “commas” rather than the possessive here)
    3) “Use commas to separate two complete thoughts. Join the complete parts with a connecting word and put the comma before the connecting word.” (Don’t you think that second sentence should follow its own advice and have a comma before the “and”?)
I was also disappointed at the avoidance of proper terminology. Students at the 9th grade level should be familiar with the vocabulary of English grammar. Words like “appositive”, “conjunction”, and “sentence” can be explained, but should certainly be used in the review of rules for comma use.
I tried to go on and find useful pages, since I had already printed 7 copies of the material to use in my co-op class, but just glancing through the next several pages I noticed more errors. For example, on page 11 (Apostrophes), the 4th sentence begins, “My wife promise hed call”. How can we ask a student to focus on missing apostrophes in the midst of errors of subject-verb agreement and pronoun gender agreement?
Considering the lack of an answer key, and the user’s expense of paper and ink to print 152 pages per student, I feel this document isn’t ready for publication.

    1. I appreciate all of that. No these are just free because they are new in my service. I type them up and go through them as much as I can, after viewing hundreds of pages. I am using them this year so we will be going through the course ourselves and will be editing errors. I apologize that it was not up to standards. The books I sell on Amazon are edited as best as I can and I have fixed many mistakes from the free pages here on the blog. I definitely will be going through them before I do any major publication. This is just free and gives a basis for parents that have no other way to school their children. I will probably just pull it and wait till we complete it this year. My apologies.

Amy you clearly explain in your video that errors may be found. I would not let any negative comments discourage you from sharing materials. They may help someone. You are an inspiration and have such a kind and generous heart. I look forward to all videos and materials you make. God Bless!

    1. I appreciate that Lauren…I did hesitate for a moment to take it down until I was able to go through it again…which won’t be until the end of this year. Your comment affirmed for me to keep it:)

  7. This is amazing thank you! About how many pages should they be aiming to get through each day?

  8. Patricia A Nelson

I totally appreciate you offering this free to other families. I feel blessed and hope you continue to offer this and not take any negative opinions to heart. I have researched home schooling stuff for the last 7+ years and just came across your page. So glad I did. Many families I know struggling to home school their kids with how expensive it can be. This will bless them for sure.
    Thank you so much!

    1. Oh Yes, I will always offer this for free. It is not perfect…I am just a Momma who is doing it for Free…not paying anyone to check it for me:) So if you can get by my mistakes on a few…than wonderful:) I am glad you can use it:) Have a fantastic day!

  9. Would you say this course English 9 is a practical, real life course?
I have checked out English 6, 7, and 8 and from what I can tell these have more grammatical terms, but 9 is more practical and has writing incorporated. My son and I struggle with grammar, he is going to be in 8th, but I think the 8th maybe to hard, but 9th looked more doable. Thanks:) You are amazing!

    1. Yes more practical…you can do both in one year…we only do one page per day four times per week so there is plenty of time and you can do both at the same time if you wanted to

  10. Hi! I just found your site and have glanced through the 9th English/Grammar. I think it will be great for our needs.
I am curious about how it should be broken up, though. I see in one response that you do 3 pages per day, but that would only be about 10-12 weeks of work. Another response says 1 page per day, which would definitely stretch it out for the year. How is it meant to be planned out?
Also, any idea when the answer key available?
    Thank you!

    1. If you are just downloading the individual courses…then do one page per day. This is just a basic help for those looking for a simplified curriculum. If you buy the complete years worth of school on Amazon…it is three pages per day and then you fill in with all of the extras of real life work:) I have answer keys in book form with all the other classes included on my homeschooling resource pages. I hope this helps.

Hey Amy, first off let me start by saying you rock out loud! You amaze and inspire me even when I feel like everything in our home school is falling apart. I am so very blessed and grateful for these resources you provide for families like mine. I was wondering though if you by chance have the 9th grade English answer key yet or maybe have it in the works? I do not feel completely confident that I would be able to handle it without that honestly ha ha. Also, do you plan on doing anymore high school or do you feel this is enough for the basics needed to move on to college?

    1. I don’t have the answer keys…I haven’t worked on it yet, but need to. I should have more because I will need to for my daughter. but if I don’t all in one homeschool highschool has a great online free course. I find that we do a lot of life learning and a high school review of the basic math skill and the same for language arts.

  12. Do you by chance have answer key for the 9th grade English such as where to insert the pronunciations? I’m not too good at that.

    1. I don’t…hmmmm I wonder if you can use google and click on the sound icon and it will say the word for you??

  13. I was so excited to find your site last year! THANK YOU! Any chance you will create a text version of 9th grade as you have for the lower grades? Perhaps I just overlooked it!

  14. Is there an answer key for the ninth grade English or is there an option to buy the workbook? Thank-you

  15. Hi Amy! I have a 9th grader and just found your site. Are you planning on releasing 10th grade and up, 3R’s? Just curious! Your material is fantastic!

    1. I am not as of now…due to the season in my life…I am just getting other materials from the library for my older children. I shared in my homeschooling video what we are doing and it is completely free. Hope that helps…focus on real life learning.

  16. hi, such a blessing that you have all this homeschool material free. I have watched your youtube channel for cooking but not thought to look for your resources for homeschool. i just found this page today and just Thank you! i have read these comments, but also wondering if you have posted the 9th grade English answer key. i really want to print this for my rising 9th grader who needs extra work from the unit study curriculum we are doing. thank you and many more blessing for you and your family

    1. I haven’t been able to take the time to do that yet:( so sorry..most are self explanatory and you can go along with your child. HOpe that helps

  18. I am sorry to take up your time, but I wanted to know if there was a printed book for sale of 9th grade. I onlt can fibd the PDF to print myself.

  19. Dreama Lieghley

I am so sorry, but I can’t find the answer key for 9th Grade English. I found keys for the purchased books. Help!

    1. I don’t specifically…when our kids are in high school we focus more on real life skills and things they enjoy doing and then cover the basics and help enhance those other skills.

  20. Chanelle Tallmage

Do you offer free printable for 9th grade English? If so, I would love to view them to see if it would be a good fit for my son. Thank you!

  21. Never mind my question- I just looked it over and don’t think it’s necessary. Thank you so much for sharing!
