Everyone has different ideas about how to wash windows—you do what works. Here are some tips to help you:
- When washing a window inside and out, wipe the windows up and down when indoors and when outdoors wipe the windows from side to side. That way if you see any streaks–you can tell where you need to wipe.
- Use lint free cloths when wiping windows. Microfiber cloths work well for this. Old baby diapers and even newspaper–the black and white print) work well without leaving any lint behind.
