On the internet this cake is called better than s_x cake. But I don’t like those words so I changed them to love, but I can’t agree that this statement is true. Yes, this dessert is wonderful, and yes it is so good I can eat the whole thing if given the chance. But no, it is not better than LOVE.
It is very easy to put together and tastes really good. It has been named to our rotation for traditional pies for Thanksgiving. It sits among pumpkin, apple, and chocolate pie:)
In a food processor mix 1 stick butter, 1 c flour, 1/2 cup pecans. Mix until crumbly.
You pat it into the pan. I used 2 round pans, but normally you can use a 9×13 sized dish.
Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
When completely cooled, mix 1 pkg cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 cup cool whip. Spread on top.
Then mix up 3 pkg chocolate pudding and 5 cups milk. Pour that over the dessert.
Top with rest of cool whip and any topping you desire. You can use chopped pecans, candy coated toffee pieces, or mini chocolate chips. It is absolutely divine dessert. Make some for a special family dessert.
