New Home for the Guinea Pigs

For those of you that follow our family on Youtube, know that we added some new family members recently to our home.

This is Butterscotch, Madelyn’s guinea pig. When she got one, we learned that guinea pigs do best in pairs. So we got Asher. Stephen’s guinea pig.

These two have been a lot of fun in our family.

When we first got them, we bought a small wooden cage. Which they quickly grew out of.

We knew we had to upgrade and decided on this one.

Lots of little pieces to put together.
But it got completed within about 2 hours from beginning to end.
The instructions were fairly easy to put together. A few times I had put the wrong piece on and had to remove them, but it was a quick fix.

It is a mansion compared to the other home.

I like that it has a little ledge that you can push down and separate the two if needed.

Came with a feeding trough to put hay inside.
Has two separate living areas that are joined together by stairs. The guinea pigs are loving life!

So much more room for them to run around it. I am adding a link to the specific cage that we got here. Would definitely recommend this one to others looking to make a nice big home for their family pets.

Have a wonderful day!
