lentil vege burgers

For this you can add whatever types of veges that you would like, I put in my food processor with the shredded blade the following raw veges:

  • carrots
  • sweet potatoes
  • zucchini
  • onion
  • mushrooms
  • sweet peppers

I then placed the blade on and added about half of the above along with a cup of cooked lentils and some kale and spinach and pureed it with garlic cloves.

Then place in a bowl with some of the pureed and some of the shredded and some of the whole lentils.

Add for flavoring:

salt, pepper, sesame seed oil, and soy sauce.  Taste and see what other sort of flavors you want to add to it or more of one of the above.

Then you need a filler like oats, nutritional yeast, and wheat germ.

I made that to a good consistency and then added some eggs whisked.

Form into patties and fry in a pan with grapeseed oil until charred.

Place on a piece of parchment paper and freeze and place in bags.

To heat, do in microwave or oven.  Delicious.
