I have been looking through my recipe books trying to come up with different recipes that my daughters can practice their kitchen skills on. This was one that I passed by many times. It just didn’t stand out much with ingredients so I didn’t think it would be that spectacular. Well guess what?? It was, and my daughters had a very easy time making it. It will definitely go in our master food lists under desserts.
You will need the following:
- 1 baked 9 x 13 chocolate cake
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 pkgs instant chocolate pudding
- 3 cups milk
- cool whip
- mini chocolate chips, or other candies for garnishing
Mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle half the crumbs over the baked cake. Mix up pudding and pour over top of cake. Top with remaining crumbs. Spread cool whip and top with mini chocolate chips.
Simple and easy for younger daughters to make.
