For the yogurt sauce:
- 1-16 oz greek yogurt (I used homemade and strained it)
- 1 cucumber, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 T oil (I used grapeseed)
Mix well and refrigerate
For the marinade on the chicken:
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 T lemon juice
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 2 T oil (I used grapeseed)
- 1 T oregano
- salt and pepper
Stir in chicken pieces to coat and refrigerate or place in plastic bag and freeze.
To prepare: broil the chicken, I poured the entire contents of my freezer bag into a disposable foil pan and broiled. It was delicious.
Serve with sliced tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, feta cheese
