This is easy to make. The key is to have butter flavoring. This makes it taste “birthday cake like”.
We start out with our hot chocolate base.
Mix in a saucepan:
- 1 T cocoa
- 1/4 c sugar
- dash of salt
- 1/2 c water
Bring to a boil and add 4 cups milk.
When warmed add 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp butter flavoring
Serve with marshmallows and sprinkles.
