I love your blog!! I’m also a homeschool mom as well. I teach 5 children and their ages are 17, 15, 14.5, 12.5 and 10. Thank you for all that you do!!!
Amy, Thank you so much for all of your commitment. You are an inspiration and am thankful the Lord led me to your website. I have a question for you, as to what you do when it comes to keeping transcripts for high school. I would love your thoughts and input.
Your quite welcome Maria! I am very happy to share what the Lord has allowed me to do. Your question, gives me insight for doing some sort of post on how I keep records for high school. I am not at that stage yet with my next set of children so I haven’t had the need in a few years. I only had to do transcripts for one child. This book —-Senior High: A Home-Designed Form+U+La was what helped me hugely in figuring it out. It looks like you can get it on Amazon used for under $5. A well written big book. The author goes into detail on how to count everything…real life, work, hands on schooling….as time towards credits. Check your local library first you may be able to get it, but for the small amount of money, I believe it is worth it. She includes lots of forms and such to help you keep track of hours and how to grade, etc. Basically, you keep track of hours and give a grade based on their abilities. I hope this information helps some. Have a blessed day! Amy
