I have been homeschooling my children for over 15 years. When you do something for that long, things become “normal.” When I am asked questions about homeschooling from other people, I forget that they want the basics. I am starting a new series about homeschooling. I am not sure how many videos I will do, but I have a HUGE list of topics that I will cover. I will start out with the basics of homeschooling and move on to different topics such as:
- avoiding burn out
- how to count real life skills towards high school credits
- what about physical education
- what about the naysayers
- what if my child fails their testing
- teaching my child to read
- I am not creative, what about art class
- I am not musical, can I teach my child
- I am not qualified, how can I do this
- I am a single mother, is homeschooling for me
