toad in a hole

This was something I remember making back when I took Home Economics in school.  Easy and fun meal.

First we cut out circles from our slices of bread.

Then we placed them on our griddle. In the holes, I sprinkled some bacon.  Then I cracked an egg in the holes and let it cook.  When the side was cooked, I flipped it.

  Cooked the other side until done.  If you push a bit on the top, you will see if there is still egg yolk oozing out.  Serve.
