Easy chocolate pretzels in crockpot and in bag

img_20161205_183311We tried two new methods for melting chocolate covered pretzels this year and they are BOTH winners!

Place melting discs and peanut butter chips in mason jars and set in your crockpot.  Make the water line be up to the chocolate and turn on high.  It melts them quickly with no need for burning.

Place the jar on it’s side and put the pretzel inside of it to coat.  You can wipe the excess off on the rim of the jar. Another method was to put the melting discs in a bag and melt them. Then stick your pretzel in the bag, you can easily wipe off the excess chocolate and have a perfectly covered pretzel.

Next year I would save the Starbucks glass coffee jars and use them instead of mason jars.  They would be a little thinner and then my chocolate would reach the top of the jar and I would have no need to put them on their side.

Two great ideas and no mess!!!
