chicken gravy over biscuits

In large pot add 2 cups shredded chicken, chicken broth, and some mixed vegetables. I thickened mine with mashed potato flakes.

In mixing bowl for the biscuits mix:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks butter cut up in small chunks
  • 1.5 cups milk

Mix the flours and then knead the butter chunks into it.  You can use a pastry cutter or your fingers:)  Then mix in the milk.  Drop into cupcake pans and bake 350 for 20 minutes.

Serve with biscuits crumbled into bowl with gravy over top.
