Beef stroganoff

you will need the following:

  • 1 lb lean round steak
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

Cut steak into strips.  Melt butter in skillet.  Add steak and cook on medium high until browned on both sides.  Add soups.  Bring to a simmer and simmer on low  for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Simmer means small bubbling.

Stir in sour cream and remove from heat.  Serve over cooked rice or cooked pasta.
