For our family, I cook 2 bags of egg noodles until almost done.
In a skillet I combine 1 lb of ground beef, some onion, beef bouillon, and 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup. You want it to taste very beefy and flavorful:) I then mix it with the cooked noodles and add a container of sour cream. Sometimes I sprinkle pepper on top as well.
I put mine in the crockpot and turn it on warm. This keeps everything nice and soft and doesn’t overcook the noodles until I am ready to serve.
