We made some Italian meatballs when we got our hamburger fresh. We mixed in some garlic, basil and oregano to the meat. Then formed them into balls, we added a chunk of mozzarella cheese to the center and then froze on a cookie sheet.
To make the casserole. Bake your meatballs at 400 degrees until browned—about 30 minutes. In a casserole dish add a box of cooked Rigatoni noodles and spaghetti sauce of your choice. Top with meatballs and some more shredded Mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake 350 for 40 minutes.
